Nature Tour – Life and Plant in the Footsteps of Bird's Head With the arrival of the cooler months, the weather invites you to get outside, disconnect from the screens and discover the urban nature up close. Join us on a special birding tour for families, where we will discover together the rich fauna that exists right next to home. In the autumn months, the birds continue to migrate south, and in November and December you can also meet migratory birds that stop here to rest and search for food, along with local species and birds that come to our area for the winter. This is an opportunity to get to know the diversity of birds, learn about the changes that occur in nature with the change of seasons, and discover how much activity takes place around us even on cold days. During the tour, we will go out into the field, learn to look at the environment from a new perspective and get to know the birds that meet us along the way. We will distribute binoculars to the participants and learn how to use them to locate and identify birds. We will hear stories about their behavior, learn to distinguish between their voices and discover how they cope with weather changes and the challenges of migration and winter. Participants will be given a gift of bird identifiers, and binoculars will be available to them during the tour.
