You are invited to a special birding tour for families, in which we will discover together the rich and fascinating fauna that is hidden in the urban nature, during the transitional season of this time of the year. The month of September is an exciting month in the nature of Tel Aviv, which invites an encounter with our local birds, anticipation of the first flocks of migratory birds, and learning about how nature prepares for the changes of seasons and the beginning of autumn. During the tour, we will go out into the field during the pleasant hours of the day and learn how to observe the environment with a new and in-depth look. We will distribute binoculars to all participants, learn how to use them correctly, and go out to identify the birds that visit us this season. We will hear fascinating stories about the behavior of the birds, learn to recognize their voices and songs, and understand in depth how they adapt and prepare for the long migration journeys and the changes in the weather.
