Wood carving for children (ages 7 to 14) - introductory workshops to the world of carving Ahead of the opening of 2 professional and special carving courses with us at Beit Be'er in the Grove, come and connect your child to the ancient craft! Carving the way to a new ancient craft! The well house in the grove is proud to continue to bring ancient crafts back to life, and this time wood carving! How does a simple piece of wood become a piece of wood? What tools and techniques will we learn? What can we create with our hands, wood and a little patience? On Tuesday, November 24th, we will meet for an afternoon of introductory workshops and experimentation with wood carving, led by artist and facilitator Amos Adar. We will get to know different types of wood, experiment with carving tools and basic techniques, and discover a whole world of creativity, precision, fine motor skills and imagination. How to join? The workshops are designed for girls and children aged 7-14, and take place in small groups (up to 6 in a group), with personal attention, according to age.
