You are invited to an amazing workshop full of creativity for ages 8-12 In the workshop, we will enter the world of robotics from the basics: we will discover what motors, servos, gears, and sensors do, how electricity flows in a circuit, and how a tiny controller translates lines of code into motion. The work will be done on the CyberBrick system – ESP32-based controllers with fast connections and no soldering, so that each child assembles and wires himself. Throughout the workshop, we will build projects that rise to the level – a moving vehicle, a forklift with a crane, and robots that respond to commands and sensors. At the same time, the children will get to know how a 3D printer works and print the robot bodies themselves, as the same electronics kit moves from project to project. In the last part, each child will choose their final project – a remote control car, forklift, tractor or other robot – print, assemble, program it, and also build their own sign. Alongside the personal work, the children will build a track and joint challenges for the vehicles. At the end of the workshop, each child takes home their project along with the design and code files – for further experimentation and development at home. About the advisor: Vladi Winde – a software engineering student at the Open University who conducts robotics workshops for youth throughout Tel Aviv, works at the Goethe-Institut and operates the VR and AI array. 12 m
