DJ course for kids – 4 sessions + a festive and cool graduation party for friends and family. Lesson 1 – Enter the world of DJ. Introduction to the world of DJ and introduction to the controller. What is a DJ and what does a DJ actually do? Introduction to musical styles and how to differentiate between them. Basic concepts: BPM, CUE, ONE. Introduction to the controller – buttons, sliders, headphones and DJ software. How do you choose music that suits the audience? First experience working with the controller. A short and concluding exercise. Lesson 2 – Start mixing. Learn to connect songs and create a smooth transition. What is a mix and how do you connect two songs? Knowing the rhythm and adjusting the BPM. Proper use of the CUE and headphones. Familiarity with basic functions in the controller. Practical practice of transitions between songs.
